Lash lift

a lash lift is a perm for your lashes that shapes them into the perfect eye-opening curl. It's often paired with a lash tint to make lashes stand out even more. During your visit we will discuss the curl you desire.

lash lift should last you anywhere between six to eight weeks. Having said that, it's also important to note that its longevity depends on the amount of care you take in preserving them and ensuring you maximise the time.

Try to avoid using any oil-based makeup or skin care when you've had a lash lift, because the oil can disrupt the solution and make it harder to stick. At the same time, using waterproof mascara can be an issue because it often needs to be removed with oil-based makeup remover. We Suggest The White Knight Mascara by Poni Cosmetics which we stock in the salon for this reason, the volume results are incredible!

Before and Aftercare

Please ensure you don’t wear any waterproof mascara on the day of your lash lift
Come to your treatment on time, with clean eyes.
After you've just had them done, you'll need to avoid wetting your lashes for about 24 to 48 hours. We all remember the court room scene in Legally Blonde where Elle explains "cardinal rule of perm maintenance". Water will disrupt the perming solution on your lashes and you can say goodbye to your curl. So keep them dry for a day for a day or so until they set.
If you're more keen on a "just rolled out of bed with sky-high lashes but also want to go for a dunk in the pool" kind of situation, lash lifts are way more practical for you.

Don't wear contacts! Bring your case with you and a pair of back up glasses for after if you have them! If by some chance solution gets into your eye, the last thing you want to do is trap it behind a contact lens!
Don't use coconut or castor oil on your lashes! Doing so will result in the lift to fall! That being said, if you have a bit of curl left over on the ends of your lashes after 6-8 weeks, and you are wanting to get rid of it, grab up some of that oil. Brush it through your lashes once or twice a day, for about a week, leading up to your next lash lift appointment! You'll be glad you did!
Always remember to let us know on your paperwork of any allergies you may have! And if you tend to have watery eyes, let your provider know before the service starts, so that they can be prepared!
